This Privacy Statement sets forth the State Road and Tollway Authority’s (“SRTA”) policy with respect to the gathering and dissemination of information we obtain from you on the following Sites: www.georgiatolls.com, www.peachpass.com, www.mypeachpass.com or any sites subsequently operated by SRTA (“Sites”).
This policy may be changed from time to time and without further notice. Your continued use of the Sites after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. In the event the policy is changed, the new policy can be inspected at www.peachpass.com. If you do not agree to abide by these new terms or any future terms, please do not use the Sites.
Our Commitment to Privacy
SRTA has created this security and privacy statement in order to document and communicate its commitment to doing business with the highest ethical standards and appropriate internal controls.
We respect the privacy of your information. We provide this explanation about our online information practices to reflect our commitment to protect your privacy while using SRTA Sites.
The Information We Gather
You may browse our Sites without providing any information whatsoever. Our Sites' Peach Pass application form and business opportunities registration requires users to give us contact information. This information is used to provide information to those who inquire about accounts, services, and seek to bid on business opportunities. This information is also used to get in touch with customers when necessary regarding their account. From time to time, the information gathered through this site will also be used to notify you about services and opportunities that SRTA thinks will be of interest to you.
In addition, we automatically gather general anonymous statistical information about our Sites and visitors. We use this data in the aggregate to determine how much our customers use parts of our site so we can improve our site. We may provide this statistical information to third parties, but when we do so we do not provide personally identifiable information without your permission.
When you disclose personally identifiable information to us, we use that information in the course of normal business to provide you services, manage your account, investigate problems, resolve disputes, collect debts owed to SRTA or enforce our User Agreements. SRTA may also share the information we collect about you with third parties from the following categories: Collection Agencies, Government Agencies, Credit Card Companies, Check Processing Companies, Banks, and our Toll Interoperability Partners (i.e. toll agencies in other states who accept Peach Pass for payment on their toll facilities) and their licensees. In addition, any information that is shared with SRTA that is subject to disclosure under the Georgia Open Records Act is subject to disclosure. However, certain personally identifiable information such as vehicle travel history and financial information is exempt from disclosure under the Georgia Open Records Act, and accordingly, such information will not be disclosed unless SRTA believes in good faith that it is compelled to do so by federal law, state law or court order. We do not sell, rent, lend, or otherwise transfer personal information except as outlined above.
We employ reasonable and current security methods to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure correct use of information.
For services requiring online financial transactions, the Sites use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption protocol to safeguard your sensitive personal information, including your credit card number. Information is encrypted from your computer to the Portal computer processing your request. Your account information and profile are password-protected.
We recommend that you not divulge your password to anyone. Our personnel will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited e-mail. Remember to sign out of your account and close your browser window when you have finished your session. This is to help ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place where others may have access to it.
No data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. As a result, while SRTA tries to protect your personal information, it cannot ensure or guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and, therefore, you do so at your own risk.
How You Can Update or Correct Your Information
You can access the information that we collect online and maintain through normal updating methods. Use www.mypeachpass.com to update or correct this information.Your account can be deactivated by contacting customer service at 855-PCH-PASS (724-7277). Upon the deactivation of your Peach Pass account, you may not continue to use any all-electronic toll facility (such as the I-85 Express Lanes) but toll facilities with attended or cash-only lanes are available for your use, such as Georgia 400.
During the normal course of doing business, SRTA will continue to share your information among our business units and third parties as necessary in order to service your accounts with us.
Precautions for Children
SRTA does not attempt to collect personal information from children. If a child sends personal information to SRTA, and this information can be identified as originating from a child, the information will be deleted. SRTA cannot always determine which information originates with a user that is a child. SRTA does not maintain databases about children.

This site may contain links to other sites. SRTA is not responsible for the security or privacy practices of these sites, the products or services offered by these sites, or the content appearing at these sites. SRTA does not endorse any of the products or services marketed at these other sites. Any links are strictly provided for informational purposes only and without representation or warranty of any type whatsoever.
This site is protected with a variety of security measures such as change control procedures, passwords, and physical access controls. We also employ a variety of other mechanisms to ensure that data you provide is not lost, misused, or altered inappropriately. These controls include data confidentiality policies and regular database backups.
With respect to the SRTA Sites, there are two options regarding your personal information. If you wish to contact us about our services or business opportunities, then you need to disclose your contact information so that we can service your request, or if you do not wish to contact us about our products or services, we will have gathered no information about you, and you do not need to take further action. If you have elected to pursue the first of these options, after you have obtained the information you sought, you may at any time tell us to remove your name and other contact information from our database.
